One To One Coaching
One to one coaching is designed to help people create change in themselves. Usually this means improving a skill or capability in order to achieve a personal objective.
Some organisations encourage employees to set personal objectives in line with the company goals and sponsor their coaching sessions especially if they are being groomed for important roles whilst others seek out one to one coaching to enable themselves to become more self-aware, have better clarity of their own management style or leadership impact.
In my experience there are points in all our careers where a person feels stuck, not motivated and having a constant feeling that he /she is unable to give her best at work because of own limitations or situations not in control. We can wait for such situations to pass and they usually do or work towards making oneself more capable of handling the challenges ahead of us.
